Once again trying to get Serious about skin care regimen and it's so daunting trying to keep track of what order to layer products and remembering what shouldn't be mixed

@durumcrustulum Retinol is the thing ive learned to not take lightly, i just googled "rose hip seed oil and retinol" and saw a post saying you could mix them if properly titrated

@chiaberry Yeah start low and slow on retinol, I threw 1% on my face and was like "why is my skin barrier annihilated, hmmmm"

@durumcrustulum i was too cavalier before and paid a price. Also i have the worst sun screen habits.

@chiaberry right now it's just an essence, my favorite vitamin c, ceramides, sunscreen , the occasional face mask

@chiaberry My ride or die sunscreen (Canmake mermaid uv) is amazing but for hot direct sun exposure i need stronger stuff as i am a ghost who burns

@durumcrustulum I splurged on megashade by zitsticka last year, but if canmake mermaid doesnt have a white cast i'm going to try that. I wanna feel as fresh as a mermaid princess

@chiaberry no white cast, doesn't make me break out even if i fall asleep in it, nice under makeup, has a very faint sheen/glisten effect, it's great
