omg my Twitter client now has a View counter on every tweet, not even just my own, holy shit I hate that

Like okay I didn’t need to know that 30 people saw that and didn’t say or do anything with it?? that number doesn’t matter and I know that, which is why I don’t want to see it! seeing it just gets me into a fallacy spot and makes me sad!!

and also it just feels so funny-desperate, like trying to prove that Twitter has more reach than people think

like ok calm down, people know how effective the platform is or isn’t for them

@aria @matchu “wow this campaign has great reach but it converts really poorly” i think you probably only interpret that as “your fault” for so long before you start to question the value prop of the platform especially when you have lots of historical data on your side
