I’m selling my Sony A6300 camera and a couple of lenses. You can find all the details on my website:

https://hypercritical.co/for-sale/camera/

To avoid shipping fees, I’m looking for people willing to meet up in the Boston metro area to make the purchase. Reply to this post or email siracusa@hypercritical.co if you’re interested.

@dk I replaced the A6300 with an A6600 and an A7 III.

@siracusa
The upcoming Leica Q3 would pair nicely with your Mac Pro and XDR display. No telephoto, but you'd be shooting with prime Leica glass and 60MP would allow for a fair amount of cropping. 😂

@siracusa @dk Curious, what lenses did you hold onto for the A6600?

@tuskey

SEL50F18/B Sony 50mm F1.8

Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary

SEL70350G Sony E 70–350 mm F4.5–6.3 G

Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD

@siracusa Thanks. So you prefer the Tamron 17-70 over the Sony 16-70 (which I currently have)? I guess the wider aperture makes a big difference.

@tuskey Yes, f/2.8 makes it much more viable in low light. It’s also considerably bigger and heavier. Trade-offs.

@siracusa @tuskey Surprised you’re keeping the Sony 50mm F1.8 when you have the Sigma 56mm 1.4. Seems redundant.

@siracusa @phongg i have that sel35f18 apsc lens and also love it for portraiture, those primes are great, absolutely recommend the newish low price compact primes like the sel50f25g for your a7iii, similar price point and all around solid lens for snapshots or portraits

@siracusa Nice! Locally? I’d thought to throw my hat in the ring for the 16-70 should you open up to shipping it (great price!)… but my use of my own A6300 is basically zero now and I doubt that a nice new lens would have sufficiently inspired new usage.
