finally updated my akkoma instance and it looks like maybe they fixed the frontend client’s problem with scrolling away while I’m writing a post on my phone,

so maybe I can finally use that instead of my custom one??

I really enjoyed the exercise of building a custom client, and the API made it truly not so bad to do, but I’d rather use one with the basic features I never did get around to 😅

(most of the masto ios clients I tried don’t seem to be happy with a not-quite-masto server, or at least not happy with mine lol)

@matchu the unhappiness i saw from a few was expecting something they could coerce into a Number for the post ids and not being too pleased about getting a String back from akkoma etc
