feel like i need to sit in on some crits to keep up with all the colorful turns of phrase people are using now to say politely say things like “this could use a few more iterations”, “this wildly misinterprets the initial design”, “save the vamping for your side projects”, or “did you intend for this diagram to literally look like a big ol’ mud pie sandwiched between two pieces of lettuce?”

i just don’t think i ever really appreciated how singular a name Nero Burning Rom was at the time, like, i got the joke, but i didn’t foresee how sui generis it was.
