@bryanjclark how’s the griddle?!? i was bummed that the fancy ge we ordered got canceled because that is a feature i would also use (i want to be able to cook mini potatoes and carrots in two separate 1qt pots at the same temp roughly for the same amount of time, for instance). does the griddle heat pretty uniformly or does it let you set a gradient across the griddle?

when i was a line cook i had two free standing induction burners that had an analog knob but it went from 0-100 with steps in between and the effect was extremely like using a magical gas burner when you have that resolution but the behavior of induction

@bryanjclark i have two large “burners” but there is no way to have both set to the same “temp” (ditto for the small ones) this is also because also how they are paired to deal with power draw issues so it’s just not possible to have any two burners behaving identically

@buzz how is it single-tenant? i kinda wish there were a simpler mama celeste version of it

@bryanjclark how granular are the temp controls on the ge’s, i got an lg one and its an annoying 1-8 with a turbo on each burner, i think i need something like 1-20 especially when it comes to simmering or frying, but i still prefer it to what we had previously (danger coils). wish we hadn’t had to buy this range during peak supply chain season, it made choices a lot tighter than they needed to be
